Last year, Chelsea asked V if he wanted to write a book together. He suggested that they start it as a newsletter, to test if any of their ideas were worth reading about. Last night they hit 500 subscribers.

Enough of the third person. We knew that we couldn’t be the only people with deep existential feelings about language, design, and technology, and we’re genuinely overwhelmed by the response.

Writers are our favorite people—a weird and diverse bunch of curious know-it-alls and say-it-alls. Smallish is starting to feel like a community. We can’t wait to meet you all. Someday!
